Zohar is a graphic commentary on the concept of 'actuality.' Dron says: 'I think Zohar takes us to the days of the Fleischer Brothers in the 1920's before Disney’s big productions. Even though Zohar is not yet a fully animated character, he connects with the origins of cartooning and animation. Like Popeye and Superman, Zohar wants to fight ignorance, slavery.

He is a wandering Jew. Abel making fun of Cain. A question mark. A witness. A house keeper. A wind that shakes all dogma out. A force that broadens, expands our consciousness. Zohar is conducted by a vision. A vision that is always political. A vision that ultimately attempts to contribute to the continuity of Judaism'.
